Fist expedition

The crew part from Bilbao on august 2010, and came home on october.

For this reason, all stops are in relation with environmental issues, both in rural areas and cities. On arrival at each port of destination, we make a presentation of the project and of our territory. We try to have large-scale media coverage, either through information panels, visits on board, or showing up to the minute completed work.

The main objectives of this feat are the followings:

• To promote the study and education of the environment.
• To enforce the fundamental values of our society intervening in developing education.
• To popularize the practice of sailing and diffuse a part of our history, of our culture and use it as an educational instrument.
• To popularize knowledge about the world.
• Trans-oceanic relations with other cultures.
• To show and promote the province of Bizkaia around the world.
