SEEING garbage

When we sail along the coast, walked along the beach, we swam in the river ... always find a lot of waste. We see, we regret and we forget that they are probably lye cans, milk bottles or plastic bags that have been lifted out of our kitchens, bathrooms, schools ....

From the beaches, rivers and coasts many of these objects difficult to degradation navigate to seaward. In this way an animal may swallow it thinking it was another fish, as do turtles drown swallowing plastic bags, thinking they are a jellyfish.

During the sailing to Ireland we have seen many objects floating at sea and wonder if there will be able to get here from the coast or other navigators have been those who have thrown overboard. Curious contradiction right? That a sailor who appreciates, loves and wants to enjoy and others enjoy the sea for generations can do something like this.

For this reason, to be more concius, we are going to develop a listo of allo the floating objects that we see in our journey. Unfortunately, deciphering the history of each one of them is a mystery that we can never solve, but it is inevitable that each of us build a story around what we see …
