Pakea Bizkaia training

Pakea Bizkaia continue with the training daily. These fitness sessions have two clear objectives. Fitness required for long journeys and building a strong team.

They are divided into several stages:

In the first one, we work the flexibility and elasticity which exercises should be continued during the voyage.

In the second stage we focus on strength-endurance for which we work in short but intense sessions of weights.

The third phase is the long sessions of aerobic work bike, elliptical and rowing.

As our area is the sea, we can not forget training in water, in the pool during the winter and at sea in the summer and when time permits.
